my friend ann and i decided we needed " tinker bell" costumes origional in nature (at least in terms of not coming from pre-existing series) using bells and one in warm colors and one in cool. this is the warm colored one to be worn to anime central 2004

The colours are indeed nice and warm and I like how the cooler magenta of the bows stands out. The design itself is nice. It's classic fantasy, with the underbust corsetted top and puffy gathered sleeves.
What were you thinking of making the wings out of? And what kind of shoes/footwear are you going to wear?

actually we're planning on cheating and buying the wings. i know we suck, i'm sure i could make them, my mom has made fairy wings before, but i think it will all boil down to time constraints. shoes? haven't figured that out just yet. white shoes of some kind for this one. though my brain and i haven't journeyed much farther than that. ^_^;

I adore it. ^^ It has a kind of " English Country Pixie" vibe, and the yellows certainly stand out against the backdrop of the tans and muted maroon. Love the sleeves, especially.

I can't wait to see it, when it's done. If it is while we're still at school. (has no idea when anime central con is)
